Text that I chose is the “Robin hood” and, the structure of this text is an archetypal figure in English folklore. The Robin Hood is very traditional story in United Kingdom. For the clothes, mens wore tight long pants to avoid the diseases from the insects and easier to move, but some old men wore one peace like the one that priest wear. I think this tight long pants are very european because when I always see the picture of the famouse eurpeans, they’re always wearing that kind of clothes. From the text, I can understand that the United Kingdom is the monarchy, which means that there is a King and a Queen in their country. At that time a large part of the land was covered with great forests, in which deer and other game ran wild; and it was near the borders of one of these, called Sherwood Forest. Sherwood Forest is a Royal Forest in Nottinghamshire, England, contrinuously afforested since the end of the Ice Age. Sherewood is today reduced to a 165 square miles remnant surrounding the billage of Edwinstowe, the site of Thoresby Hall.
In this story, they talked about the deforestation in United Kingdom. The UK is one of the least forested countries of Europe . The average European country has 24% of its land area covered by forests. Deforestation in these areas is leading to destruction all over the country, and if the government, and the society doesn’t do anything about it, chances are that all trees would be damaged and people will die and the world will come to an end.
